Le carte veline rappresentano l’aspetto fondativo delle mie tele in quanto testimoniano la lenta, pregna e complessa procedura che ne accompagna ideazione, genesi e sviluppo sino ad arrivare al quadro definitivo. Le carte veline individuano la ricerca compositiva e cromatica che andrà quindi poi a confluire sulla tela congelandone  segni e riempiture. Vi emergono gli studi a matita o pennarello, i ragionamento sulle campiture, le cicatrici di scotch a sutura della carta ricomposta. Quali parti integranti di ogni opera sono le mie matrici più preziose.

Tissue papers
Tissue papers represent the founding aspect of my paintings. They witness the slow, pregnant and complex process that accompanies the ideation, genesis and development until the final picture. The tissue papers witness the compositional and chromatic research that will then merge in the canvas then freezing the various signs and backgrounds. One can see the pencil or pen studies, the reasoning on the painting backgrounds, the scars of scotch which suture the recomposed card(s). As integral parts of each piece, they are the most precious matrices of my works.
